Good to see woodland walk paths still in tact. Disappointed to not to see the saplings planted last year are nowhere to be seen. But generally the park looked good.

An army of litter pickers have turned up outside the fire station in -#Hull ready to clean the streets after yesterdays unrest

Great turnout this morning at the weekly junior parkrun. Young kids running their socks off. Huge thanks to the regular volunteers who organise and marshal the Eve so the participants can run safely. It would be great to see more local kids running

Extremely disappointed that vandals have struck at the Woodland walk , just 4 days after opening all the signs made by local students and school kids have been ripped off, those kids will be so disappointed at this news. It happened on Friday evening by all accounts.

On Friday we learned that we have secured the funding for lighting for the park. Thanks to @Hullccnews Crime Prevention Fund and the Police & Crime Commissioner Community Safety Fund and of course our own Ward budget. This will ensure the park is a safer space for everyone

Really proud & excited at the proposed developments for our Woodland Walk on King George V PF. On Friday we agreed to plant wildflowers along the path & to install bug hotels & bird boxes. Astonishingly we have already planted 125 saplings this year. We’ve also ordered info signs

Compared to some city parks this is a puddle, but it still could be a death trap. I’m asking the council put notices up warning of the dangers.

Our woodland walk nature trail is almost complete. We will soon be planting more trees in this newly opened up corner of the park.
