Its to get the state into your private domicile. Its not about the children. A gun behind a lock does you no good when you might only have seconds to react. Again its not about the children its about control and giving the state access to your private domicile without consent.

Easy to find. 90% of it was about banning large amount of semi-auto guns that are widely owned and used in this country.
