My dad always said women who “don’t want” children end up becoming teachers so they’re able to express the natural instincts to mother offspring (and may also infantilize their bf/husband) and that mostly women become teachers because women desire to nurture a relationship with children. The viciousness towards Erika is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Just absolute psychopathic cruelty being casually exhibited by huge numbers of people on both sides of the aisle. Even if you don’t like Erika for some dumb reason, this treatment is still deranged and cartoonishly evil. There are women in public life who I despise but if their husbands were shot and they were left raising young children alone, I wouldn’t mock and bully them. I wouldn’t pretend that I suddenly like them either. I’d probably just keep my mouth shut. That is also an option. If you don’t like Erika, you could always just focus on something else, rather than putting your wickedness on display for the world to see.

@Here_s_Hoping I started hosting brunch, tea party, girly gatherings at my house so I can use all the things like this that I and my mother have, so they stay “safe” but we also get to “play with them” lol. You could find an seamstress/artist who can make a beautiful keepsake out of them.

Dilemma. What do I do with these embroidered pillowcases ? They were given to my mom at her wedding. They were embroidered by her grandma, my great great grandma. My mom never used them because /she “couldn’t ever replace them” after her grandma passed. She kept them in the linen closet in the house I grew up in. She gave them to me when I got married and yes, I’ve also kept them unused in my linen closet for 20 years. I don’t want to get rid of them (I won’t). Do I use them or keep them safely store me for future generations to not use, either?
