This fight is about making our immigration system humane again—and the Trump Administration should not hold TSA and other agencies hostage without pay. Today I signed onto @rosadelauro's discharge petition so that the branches of DHS like FEMA, TSA and the Coast Guard, which are critical to safety along the Oregon coast and disaster relief in this country, are paid for their essential work. I will not vote to fund parts of DHS that are doing blatantly unconstitutional things.

TSA, Coast Guard, FEMA, CISA, and many other DHS employees have missed their first full paycheck due to the partial shutdown.
