The eyes of the world were on Scottish football this weekend. The title race captivated a global audience as it all came down to a final showdown. Yet even with the world watching on, Celtic couldn’t help but show themselves for what they are. Their fans violently attacked players and staff of their opponents - and not for the first time. This only happens because of the culture of unaccountability both within the SPL, who allow Celtic to act with impunity, and the Celtic Football Club themselves, who would rather celebrate thuggery by their fans instead of tackle it. Celtic as a club, as a fan base, and as an institution, are a perpetual embarrassment to Scotland and to football. Constantly bringing the beautiful game into disrepute.

Has there ever been a reaction like this to any footballing outcome? It has become a worldwide story; everyone now sees Celtic & their fans for what they are. No matter how they try to gloss it; they know they cheated & it’s a false title.

Disgusting behaviour Celtic fans attacking hearts players. Tainted titles are the new norm in this corrupt Scottish League. They have done pitch invasions 4 or 5 times this season with NO repercussions. Animal behaviour.

@DPJHodges You don’t abandon a game that has 30 seconds to olay in added time of 8 minutes.. That’s just ludicrous - otherwise there would be fans invading just to get games stopped. The ref did exceptionally well today He put safety of players and staff first & then declared full time

So on Celtic v Hearts. Serious point. When Celtic's third goal goes in there are clearly 30 seconds of the match remaining. So the game has to restart. But it didn't. The game had to be abandoned because of the actions of the Celtic fans. Hearts players were assaulted. So in any normal circumstances surely that would mean the awarding of a 3-0 win to Hearts.
