@itsAntWright Not the first time people have put Paige over Caitlin…seems like it’s just fuel for Caitlin’s fire.
English

Naw the disrespect and negative energy for Caitlin Clark was there all night.. doesn’t take much thought to know who Taurasi was referring to
“I’m taking Paige, next question”.. no analysis or context.. don’t be obtuse, you know what’s going on here
Byron@bschwartz34
@itsAntWright Don’t misquote her. She was not referring to Caitlin Clark specifically. She was referring to all college players making the transition to the WNBA.

@Rushthewriter I’ll try it again, but I guess I’m missing why everyone is so hyped on it. 🤷♂️ just my opinion but every one seems to really like it and I was looking for more kick out of everything. I do know places here do Iowa it down.
English

@Rushthewriter Can’t say i was overly impressed it was ok. Not something I’d be longing for I’ve had better gochujang wings in DSM (Rico’s) The sides were really bad. The pickled daikon would be better sliced thinner or julienned. Maybe it was the batch of kimchee I had but rather bland.

Iowa's Gabbie Marshall helped hold Paige Bueckers, who was averaging 28 ppg in the NCAA Tournament, to 3 points in the final 15:27 (1-for-4, 2 turnovers) of last night's semifinal.
Marshall: “I get to take on the challenge of guarding her. That’s so much fun. Who wouldn’t want to do that? I tried to limit her. I think I did a fairly good job of making her shots just a little bit tougher.”
English

@mikegolicjr It didn’t even end the game they missed a rebound with all that size after a missed free throw.

upon further review of previously unseen angles, my official stance on the moving screen call last night is:
it was a foul. it sucks that the call ended the game. but like the Eagles/Chiefs Super Bowl, it was the correct call.
*bangs gavel*
Chris Hassel@Hassel_Chris
This is why a lot of ppl (including myself) were fooled into thinking this was a weak/bad call. The broadcast only showed 2 replays of it and they were both from the side angle where you couldn’t see how much Edwards was moving and how wide her legs were.

Fans of blue-blood teams can't stand Caitlin Clark/Iowa. Why? Because it's no longer all about them. How the #Hawkeyes have helped bring some much-needed parity to WBB.
Caitlin Clark's greatness, Lisa Bluder's culture has elevated Iowa's program status: 247sports.com/college/iowa/a…

After "hate comments," Iowa's Gabbie Marshall deleted her social media and reiterated that officials made the correct call on UConn's moving screen.
“When the right call is the right call, it’s not fair to say you can’t make that with 10 seconds left."

@NancyLieberman Easy call it’s a foul they called two other like it that weren’t as bad in the first half of the game they knew they were calling it so you have to adjust your style.

English

@SethDavisHoops Let’s say no call play on 0aige get a light tap on the elbow misses shot do we still play the you don’t call the foul game? This what if could go on and on.
English

@SethDavisHoops first show the other non call moving screen as blatant as this one, and they did call it all game coach even pointed that out in the presser.
English

@SethDavisHoops People saying they could have called this on both teams all game or if they should be consistent with the calls they would know not to do it. 😂
English

Not just textbook. Obvious. Clear. Not even a question. And I was among those who initially thought it was a bad call because I only saw the close/upper body reply. This is not even a debate. It. Was. A. Foul.
Future Of The Retro@TraeK_
This is a textbook moving screen It just sucks cause it was 3 seconds left
English

@SethDavisHoops Terrible call. They could have called moving screens all night in both teams but they didn’t.You don’t wait until the last 8 seconds to call it and be part of the out come.Let the players decide it on the floor.
English

@mbalan28 @SethDavisHoops But didn’t coach say they got called for it three times made it a point to say that 🤔 that kind of blows up your argument.
English

@SethDavisHoops It’s like not calling fouls on minimal contact all game, letting them play but then calling a ticky tack foul on the most consequential possession. Sure it’s technically a foul according to the rule book but everyone who knows the sport, knows you don’t call it. Common sense
