We don’t need mail delivery 6 days per week. Shrink it to 3 days and life will go on.

Anyone else change your route through the store to avoid random salesmen who accost you at Costco or Sam's Club? The phone salesmen, random camping gear, Cutco knives...today it was a lady selling an outdoor sauna. Annoying.

So sorry to learn of the announced demise today of the sports section of The Washington Post. This Post photo, by the award winning photographer Carol Guzy, graced the front page of the sports section in the spring of 1991. It came with a long feature story on DeMatha.

The worst day in our cricketing history was when we were 21-7 against Estonia in July 2023. We realised our players had consumed more sausages in Tallinn the previous day than runs currently scored on the pitch. Those statistics were stark and marked a key inflection point.

@bethanyshondark @MontgomeryCoMD Not so in Germantown. We shoveled a bit ourselves on Sunday am and pm. Plows came through Monday. Took ten minutes to sweep over the spillover. Went to work today. In a County building. Grocery store too. Maybe your street isn't plowed but many are so stop generalizing.

Absolutely wild that @MontgomeryCoMD has posted nothing but threats about fining people for not shoveling their walkways. I haven't seen a plow on our street since the snow on Sunday. For neighbors who *have* seen one, they are facing a 5ft wall of ice blocking their driveway.

Joelle gets her JRF initials from my dad as he smiles down on us. I can’t wait to impart the wisdom and values on her that he instilled in me. She also comes from a proud tradition of strong, first-born women, starting with Demi and our mothers — so she carries on quite a legacy!

Demi and I are overjoyed to welcome Joelle Rowe Friedson! I’m officially a smitten Girl Dad! Demi and Joelle are healthy and doing great, and we’re soaking in every moment. Thank you for your outpouring of support and sharing in our sheer joy! We’re blessed beyond words.
