Like this is great. Really strong sales for SH2R (which is also great and deserves the success). But RE9 has already sold more than that in a couple MONTHS. It's just mad given how much SH gets talked about. Kinda like Fury Road's box office vs influence x.com/i/status/20547…

@squared_nation Also the wording of "wrong choice to adapt" as if it's an IP he's been asked to adapt of behalf of some corporation. He WANTED to adapt it. "The Homer Estate" wasn't sitting around trying to find the right director for their vision. Its HIS version of it he wanted to make.

You guys are so boring. Always whining about how a director isn’t doing what YOU wanted from the movie. Learn to understand that human beings have different vision when it comes to art. If you want the movie to be exactly what you want go be a filmmaker.

Christopher Nolan is a gifted filmmaker but he was simply the wrong choice to adapt The Odyssey; and that’s because of his approach to storytelling. Why people love The Odyssey so much is because of the fantastical elements, the tall tales and the mythological wonders of monsters and men. Stripping away all of the wonder for realism is a mistake that will come back to haunt this film.

On the one hand; yes, dear God, please. That comic is excellent. On the other hand, I'd fear they're trying to fill the "edgy" Boys-shaped hole they're about to have. And the tones aren't dissimilar. But they aren't really the same either...
