Kendall consoled Cheektowaga’s CJ Krzanowicz after the event. They were the top two seeds entering the event, and represented Section VI. Krzanowicz was the No. 1 seed and finished the competition in third with a time of 15.38.

Angelina Napoleon starts the day winning the girls 2000-meter steeplechase championship with a time of 6:30.59. It’s her fourth state championship of the academic year.

Lilly and Angelina Napoleon went 1 and 4 in a stacked field for 2000m Steeple. That is Carrie Baloga in the middle, also one of the top runners in the USA.

My favorite part is the love, respect, recognition, sportsmanship and “sibling hood” Cameron gave his Freshman sister on stage. A little applause and fist bump goes a long way. Better than all the fast times, wins and medals in my book (and his little sister’s)
