@virginmedia My father passed 2 weeks ago. I’m trying to cancel his contract and take out a basic contract in my mum to keep her connected. She is almost 80 and has a degenerative eye condition. I am getting nowhere. The bot literally keeps saying ‘great news’. Can someone help?
@virginmedia I used Frances Stewart. They have just messaged me back asking if they are speaking with the account holder. The one who I told them has died. Is there any compassion or bereavement training did with the team at all? Can anybody actually assist?
@virginmedia I tried Facebook because Twitter told me to. I have had no response. I have a disconnect date of tomorrow for my dad but it means that until that is complete, it won’t allow me to open one for my mum. She will have no access to tv or internet
@virginmedia I have contacted. I still can’t get an account for my mum. By the time I manage, she is now going to be days without connection or tv when she is already vulnerable. This whole process has been awful

@virginmedia I have filled out the bereavement form and sent via documents. I have had no contact back yet. I wanted to avoid any disruption for my mum at this time but I’m worried she will be disconnected for too long. She is unable to take on my dad’s account due to her circumstances
