It has always been boring to me when writers make Godzilla out to be this infallible being that can never lose a fight. They always make him ridiculously OP and it just kills any interest that I have in the character whatsoever. Like oh I know he's gonna win already so who cares

icl seeing the marvel writers do this with godzilla reminds me of that ultraman doujinshi where they made godzilla like a kaiju god because otherwise he'd get blown out of the water so hard by most everybody in the verse that he needed a colossal upscale to be noteworthy again
