Rattlers finished the Doghouse Invitational 2nd place after finishing their final game against Fort Bend Travis with a loss of 50-63. Matt Velasquez and Meech Wurtz were named to the All-Tournament Team for their exceptional showing through the last 3 days.

GASO Fall Tour: Weekend MVPs Jemitri Wurtz (2025) - San Antonio Reagan Out of the gate Wurtz displayed a tough demeanor for a San Antonio Reagan Rattler team who I think is a team fans of basketball in San Antonio better be aware of. Wurtz, a senior, showed versatility as a player who could score the ball, but also crash the boards and do all the little things on both ends of the court. At 6-foot-2, Wurtz has a strong body and is physical. If you are familiar with a John Hirst ran team (which I know you are), Wurtz could fit right in with many of the Rattlers past teams. Wurtz showed to be a difference maker as he can be a leader and a “go-to-guy”, but also is willing to feel out his role and get into the flow of the game. - Blue Zertuche @reaganhoops @frrMeech
