You praise the history of the Western individual’s search for truth by means of rationality, a tradition reaching all the way back to Socrates. At the same time, you condemn the dissolution of peoples and all other communities that is becoming evident in today’s liberalism, the dissolution of all established orders, and the severing of all traditions. Isn’t that contradictory on your part? Or, to put it differently: Aren’t these two sides of the same coin? You surprisingly also mention Popper — yet he was the one who carried out a radical break with everything that is not rational, that is metaphysical, who fought against the ‘old gods’ of the philosophers and regarded both Plato and Hegel as totalitarian thinkers.

The greatest contrast between the White race and the other races is not IQ or racial differences in behavior or temperament. Buchstäblich jeder Satz des Chefs der Grünen Jugend, Luis Bobga, in diesem Video ist falsch: Asylmigration nützt der Wirtschaft nicht – und es kommen nur selten Fachkräfte –, sondern belastet die Sozialsysteme und gefährdet den sozialen Frieden. Pullfaktoren sind keine abstrakte Verschwörungstheorie, sondern konkrete Ausgestaltungen des deutschen Einwanderungssystems. Neben tatsächlichen immateriellen Pullfaktoren (wie Integrationsprojekten, einer großen Community von Landsleuten und schneller Einbürgerung) fördern vor allem üppige Hilfsleistungen und ein aufgeblähter Sozialstaat diese Einwanderung nach Deutschland. Genau das erzählen Migranten, etwa auf Lampedusa, übrigens ganz offen. Es erklärt auch, warum sie lieber nach Deutschland oder Österreich als nach Bulgarien oder Ungarn kommen (um nur zwei Länder zu nennen, die deutlich näher liegen). Diese »Magnetwirkung« des deutschen Einwanderungssystems wurde von Innenminister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU), wenn überhaupt, dann nur minimal abgeschwächt. Stattdessen lockt der deutsche Asylstaat mit seinen Anreizen weiterhin jährlich eine sechsstellige Zahl von Migranten nach Deutschland – eine Zahl, die der Einwohnerzahl einer Stadt wie Mönchengladbach entspricht. Die Folgen auf politischer und gesellschaftlicher Ebene sind längst sichtbar. Wie gesagt: Jeder Satz ist falsch, ein Video wie ein Unfall.

This only works because the "Belle Epoque" ends just before WW1. But of course, WW1 was a product of the same nationalist, militarist ideology that ruled throughout the Belle Epoque years. I don't think Weimar's problem was that it had the wrong ideology -- I think its problem was that WW1 wrecked Germany and made it prone to authoritarian takeover.

I don't think these are the only two choices, but when people are talking about how we live in a "woke liberal reich," I think it's important to remember than the Nazi Reich which preceded it, and the unwoke nationalist Reich which preceded that, were all worse than the liberal version.
