@IhabHassane I oppose the settlements. But under international law, the West Bank is still classified as a military occupation — the settlements don’t change that designation. Half of that 750,000 is East Jerusalem anyway, which is a different legal category.

Apartheid South Africa had a formal legal architecture of racial separation — pass laws, bantustans, codified by race.
Israel has Arab citizens, Arab judges, Arab members of Knesset. Even the West Bank is a military occupation — a different legal and moral category.

The public has been cry-wolfed about this twenty times by Anthropic already. They’re not listening anymore.
This is the reason why we need adult voices in the room who are willing to be precise and able to avoid psychosis when speaking on the capabilities of these things. Otherwise we just get “the world is ending” twenty times and the public starts ignoring it. We can’t trust Anthropic to properly judge the capabilities of its own models anymore.

Israel just killed a Christian, anti-Hezbollah Lebanese politician and his wife So no, I don't want the Israeli government to just keep murdering civilians with my tax dollars, and I don't find "But Hezbollah!!" to be a particularly persuasive response by the pro-Israel Twitter crowd.
