tbh, i kinda get why people from STEM have intense skepticism towards social science considering that people who defend social science keep repeating abstract words like capitalism, colonialism, decolonisation without any consideration with the empirical

@audioslaveac @_itenoir STEM are not prejudiced in social sciences, they just get mad because they can’t write or do qualitative research that takes a long time and a lot of critical analysis.

@_itenoir Social science do use jargon yes but I don’t think that’s why STEM look down on them. Also within social sciences jargon is used to sideline marginalised community students who try to learn the jargon to succeed in a world of cultural capital. Stem are prejudiced
