Attackers can exfiltrate user files from Cowork by exploiting an unremediated vulnerability in Claude’s coding environment, which now extends to Cowork. The vulnerability was first identified in Claude.ai chat before Cowork existed by Johann Rehberger, who disclosed the vulnerability. It was acknowledged but not remediated by Anthropic.

@oselcuk2002 @trq212 @AnthropicAI With 1m context window, most users don’t need it anymore. If you miss it, ask claude to re-enable it in your settings.

Did anyone else notice Claude Code v2.1.81 removed "clear context and accept" from Plan Mode? That was THE recommended workflow. @bcherny @trq212 @AnthropicAI what's
the new guidance? #ClaudeCode
English

@toddsaunders Obsidian but teach Claude a few skills. Comments for @.claude @.you chats inline `/comments check` finds and responds. Project ~400 line context files in obsidian you load before any related chat `/project search {name}` and `/project update` to capture feedback loop.

@trq212 Have you noticed recently that when compaction runs Claude thinks that skill tool calls were waiting to be run even though they were from further back in the conversation. Then it runs them in sequence often doing nothing because they weren't actually required.

@meetgranola This is so exciting and it's working great in Claude code but your oAuth flow isn't working in Codex, Opencode. Instead of redirecting it opens the App and dead ends.

@GitHubNext anything on the horizon for better PR reviews of markdown files? Our team has moved to tech-designs (PRDs too) in markdown and we would love to be able to comment on rendered markdown. It would be a game changer in our opinion.

@pierceboggan This is a cool idea, why just for copilot though? I see people suggesting AGENTS.md support which would be great.

@kentdebruin I've been trying the Claudian plugin for Obsidian. Very nice so far!

This setup is obviously very early stage. I'm really wondering what this will look like when it's made for normies? Like they're obviously not going to keep context files on projects, but they do use Slack channels, so I'm very curious how the interface of tomorrow will look like where it's just very simple to use. Something where it has all your context.
In my opinion, all the ingredients for a personal assistant are there: there's the tools, there's the different apps you can link it to, but there's not a killer app yet that ties those all together so people can just perform tasks. I guess that Claude's co-work is an early version of that? But in my opinion, also that is not simple enough. Like, what is the solution that you can show to anyone and they will immediately grasp? We might actually need to look at mobile patterns because mobile patterns often are able to collapse and fold concepts in a way where they're easy to understand and there's less clutter. Yeah, that might actually be a way to make this simpler.

With the terminal plugin you can have Claude code directly in Obsidian
English

@kentdebruin I called my Obsidian vault brain. Then I gave Claude code a brain skill. Any plan, research, review, etc. I can just say "let's work on this in our brain"
English

@arscontexta I called my obsidian vault "brain" and I gave Claude a brain skill. In any prompt I can say something like "Let's save that to our brain" Then I added a comments skill to be able to do `@claude {question}` inline, then `/comments check` to have Claude reply or act on my comments

do we call it vibe note-taking?
you dont need obsidian for knowledge management with claude code
you need markdown files with wikilinks in folders
obsidian is a nice window into the system but the system IS the files
we keep saying "obsidian and claude code" because obsidian is the recognizable name
but claude code doesnt care what app you use to view your notes
the real problem is we dont have good words for this field
"ai assisted knowledge management" is way too long
"aikm" means nothing to normies
"vibe note taking" has the same problem as "vibe coding"
it implies youre generating slop instead of going for max value
but maybe vibe note taking is the best we have for now
educate on how to do it properly afterwards
English

@EleanorKonik I just installed this plugin, it's a direct Claude code plugin for Obsidian, so far it's pretty great.
