@zanehengsperger I ran machines in two shops in my hometown before college. nobody told us it was low status. we found out later, from people who’d never touched one.
status is downstream of visibility. point cameras at the people who make things and the pipeline fixes itself.

fmr Citadel COO just wrote Memo’s pitch.
the biggest AI winners are the lowest-margin businesses - trucking, manufacturing, field service. the lever is coordination cost. the unlock is AI that needs zero employee adoption.
the coordination layer he’s describing? on the frontline it’s called dispatch. and it doesn’t live in email - it’s spoken, over the radio.
we listen. we understand. we dispatch.

“I think most people don't know what they're doing. They're just buying NVIDIA stuff.”
“It feels like a lot of people are trying to optimize on the current rather than think about where the workload is heading... and that's gonna lead to a lot of wasted infra spend.”
“I think anyone who doesn't token max is gonna get left behind. I think all this token budgeting stuff is loser mentality.”
“Open is dying quickly, unfortunately.”
