A “dull game”? Once you click into the article you find that they mention how there is 1,000 planets that can get predictable. However, what about the 100 with life on them that are vastly different than the 900 without unique life forms? How about the awesome locations the main story and many side quests bring you to? How about the countless positives in a game riddled with industry firsts? Lots of headlines speaking negatively about the game. Are they all genuinely believing the game is inherently this “dull”.. ..or are they capitalizing on the large percentage of players that play exclusively on PlayStation that thrive off of the negativity.. ..further deepening the divide amongst different console players? Negativity surely drive emotional clicks.. ..but in an industry with so many positives.. ..unless it’s something as bad as the recent move by Unity on developer revenue.. ..is this level of negativity productive, and is it even as effective for outlets as being positive?
