Virtual Reality can be very effective to support pain management with hundreds of trials now demonstrating benefits. But it doesn't always work and is not a panacea. For example, new study from this week found no benefit with intrauterine device insertion: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38013014/
