Anna Faris says Keenen Wayans asked her not to return for “Scary Movie 3” after the Wayanses were kicked off the franchise:
"In 2002, that was the last time I’d talked to Keenen. He had called me and said that the franchise had been taken away from them, and he asked me to not do it. It was such a devastating moment in the sense that I admired Keenen so much, and he was asking me to do something, but I was under contract. He said, 'All they can do is sue you!' and I’m thinking, 'I’m living in a one-bedroom apartment by the farmer’s market!'"

@LouiseJeezz @marc__adler @DiscussingFilm But it is when a woman does it? They do that irl too. Or did you forget that women can rape and abuse aswell?
English

@marc__adler @DiscussingFilm Why do we need a movie about that when we get it from men irl all the time already? A man committing physical abuse, rape, and causing Stockholm syndrome wouldn't make for a good movie

Curry Barker was offered $2 million to rewrite ‘OBSESSION’ and have Bear as the hero.
“I’m not rewriting the script to make Bear a guy that does all the right things.”

@elshaadia00 @SmalllChap @marc__adler @DiscussingFilm Yes and no. Why would it be bad to do the same idea twice? I bet you never said that about the scream or Friday the 13th franchises, which arr literally just the 1st movie done 6 more times.
English

@SmalllChap @marc__adler @DiscussingFilm No… it would be a bad idea because it would be the same exact movie just sex swapped
English

@22toGod @marc__adler @DiscussingFilm I bet you love all the Friday the 13th movies, which are the same exact thing. Having an obsessive man in the movie would be interesting, if the characters are done right. Damn social constructs, give me a good movie and stop complaining it would be too triggering
English

@marc__adler @DiscussingFilm “Let’s make the same movie, AGAIN!” this guy is a genius
English

@samyverse419 @marc__adler @DiscussingFilm Wow, double standard alert. So its only ok if the guy has to suffer when there are thousands of women who do the exact same thing? Gey out of your ass and stop pretending women are the only good people out there. You are a perfect example.
English

@marc__adler @DiscussingFilm Good thing ure nowhere near a writer’s room ✌️

@dcuworld Great, another bad looking Harley. Why can't we have anything good like the 90s. That Harley was perfect, but now we have to give her the butcher lesbo haircut? What are we doing here?

@RinoTheBouncer I would've preferred Chris, Leon, or Ada, but Jill for September is still great.
English

@RinoTheBouncer This aboutta be me everytime she shoots a zombie who was behind me (Jill make me feel funny)

English

@ItsMe_AllenT @sunchick8 @TheCinesthetic They should've focused more on gambit and rogue. It is a beautiful part of both shows, but her cucking gambit was more evil than the government in the show. Gambits death was badass, but he deserved better.
English

@sunchick8 @TheCinesthetic The show runner had a daddy fetish. Like when he was chained up in his underwear… glad that perv was fired
English

@ItsMe_AllenT @Southern_Inks @TheCinesthetic I know I did, but on second watch, the original show is far superior. But gambits death was still pretty dope.
English

@Southern_Inks @TheCinesthetic You’re not wrong. People overlook the bad writing because of the flashy animation. I love the X-men but I wanted better than what we got
English

@DiscussingFilm Yall are acting like this is the first film to ever bring romance and horror together. I know yall haven't seen obsession, because that is exactly what this is, only with 2 gay teens. And can we stop doing gay teen stuff? Idgaf if they are gay, but doing it with kids is creepy af
English

@TheCinesthetic The unfortunate part is that it ended up looking like dog water in the actual film. 3 was pretty weak in many aspects, like just killing everyone but Rippley off screen was a dumb choice. At the very least they could've had the child come back, but i understand their decisions.
English

@crypto_nrgy @Rainmaker1973 Besides, his condition wouldn't have allowed him to touch girls anyways.
English

@SrRabbito58970 @AndrewBurr94483 @screenrant Dumbass comparing a genocidal maniac to a fan of a show is crazy. Way to show us the real socialist.

Homelander got the ending he deserved in #TheBoys' series finale, which is more than can be said for other iconic characters like Daenerys and Eleven.

Luke Skywalker is the most famous Jedi in the Star Wars universe, but others, like Ahsoka Tano and Rey, arguably surpass him in terms of sheer power. bit.ly/4e7Jier

@will_bronsonn @ant_mane2345 @therealKripke @TheBoysTV We watch it to see how and why it is bad, unlike the left that just says stuff is bad because it doesnt adhere to your agendas. So you never know if its bad or not, you just hate it because it exists. We hate thos crap because it exists aswell but its a giant fuck you to the fans
English

@ant_mane2345 @therealKripke @TheBoysTV Binged 5 seasons of a show that you didn't like at all?
Don't have anything better to do with your life?

Where it all began: my first pitch for @TheBoysTV eleven years ago. Since then, hundreds of actors, thousands of crew, and millions of viewers embraced this insane idea. I'm grateful beyond words, and proud that all these years later, we stayed true to this mission statement. #FYC #TheBoys @PrimeVideo

English

@Ilovepizza98 @HthrQRoryMc @therealKripke @TheBoysTV The dick jokes were the backbone of the show, don't you know?
If we didnt have a dick joke every 15 seconds, how would you know its edgy?
If it wasn't an allegory about trump, how would you know homelander is evil?
This man has no shame.
English

@SansLettuce @TRR2468 @therealKripke @TheBoysTV The entire premise for homelander was donald trump. If you bothered to watch his interviews, you would understand that.
English

@BrandyAEckroth I dont know why I looked this up. This is pure evil in every sense of the word. I wouldn't have stopped beating him, I would done so much worse than what he did to that kid. Evil like this NEEDS to die.

@SanExuperyB612 @timblack11 @Rainmaker1973 @grok Thank you for giving a medical explanation and not just saying babies/pregnancy are/is bad for women.
English

Per Grok:
"Fetal cells persist in mothers for decades and are associated with higher risk of developing certain autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and systemic sclerosis, often linked to HLA mismatches triggering immune responses.
Research shows mixed roles for microchimerism, with potential benefits in tissue repair alongside possible contributions to autoimmunity pathogenesis, though direct evidence on worsening pre-existing conditions remains limited and varies by disease."
English

During pregnancy, a small number of the baby's cells naturally pass through the placenta and enter the mother's blood circulation. This phenomenon, called fetal microchimerism, allows tiny groups of these fetal cells to settle in the mother's body and persist there for decades following childbirth.
What makes this particularly fascinating is that many of these fetal cells function similarly to stem cells. They can travel throughout the body, integrate into various tissues, and, in certain instances, respond to sites of injury.
Studies conducted over the last twenty years have detected fetal cells in areas undergoing repair, such as healing heart muscle, regenerating skin, recovering liver tissue, and other organs involved in regeneration. Some of these cells seem able to differentiate into the specific cell types required for repair—for example, becoming cardiac muscle cells, liver cells, or immune cells. Others may play a supportive role by secreting substances that promote tissue healing and dampen inflammation.
While their effects are not entirely predictable, fetal cells are repeatedly found in tissues actively engaged in repair.
