@michael_saylor @elonmusk This is great. However it’s North America only. A higher percentage is mined out side of North America. Once those mined it’s all mixed anyways. So this is an excellent step in right direction even bigger if you can switch to the higher percentage being mined in North America.

@elonmusk All that will do is drive mining costs even higher and amount to a bigger waste of energy. In addition, it will make Bitcoin's already high transaction costs even more expensive, making #Bitcoin even less viable to use for payments than it is now.

Spoke with North American Bitcoin miners. They committed to publish current & planned renewable usage & to ask miners WW to do so. Potentially promising.
