the real solution: make a game so stylized it doesn't need shadowmaps real gamedevs add shadow sprites under characters and bake/draw vertex colors as god intended /s

@Jonathan_Blow Still can't believe they added this.

Statslike games are full of this kind of "get X bonus, but it also sucks for reason Y". I guess the ostensible reason is Game Balance but actually you don't need the negative. The game will feel better, and players' thinking much more clear, if you just do the positive part.

@joebama_27 It's an RPG with ability progression. The 24 kick is later in the game and it has Learn on it x.com/fume_head/stat…
