A writer so successful that today is a day dedicated to him in schools all over the country thinks it is reasonable that he travels for free due to his age. People have to stop taking things they do not need, it is wrong and it is bankrupting our country.

@MillerandCarter I’ll do that now. But ridiculous rocking up at 3pm with no communication when we had such a large party who had travelled from various far locations (some up to 2 hours) to see a sign on the door and to be told they had rung when we could prove they hadn’t; disgusting service.

A slimmed down primary curriculum is much needed but let's put one thing in the bin straight away. Cursive handwriting. Seren's Year 7 teachers told her she doesn't need to join. Why are we breaking our backs in primary to get them to join? Madness.
