I’m furious about this. We work so BLOODY hard to dispel this “Maths is hard/ it’s OK to not like Maths” narrative and then someone in a position of influence does this. It’s not OK. And for an invited expert there seems to be little expertise.

My guess is that our girls who haven’t chosen to do physics and instead chose biology and chemistry is that they don’t want to do the hard maths in physics Why should we force them to do physics when they don’t want to? Those who want to, are thriving in physics- that’s great!

@GaryLineker Agreed, and using your same time scale, we were warned a month ago, reminded a fortnight ago, told explicitly last week and still we miss our opportunities to act collectively. Sometimes, it’s just all too convenient to turn notifications off!
