@nandtpolitics @furnsey 1) Yes they did. 2) Statutory rape is rape. It’s the same. 3) Marriage is not a mitigating factor. In fact, coerced marriage between a minor and an adult makes this worse, not better. 4) This has nothing to do with black churches. Nice try at deflecting an indefensible position.

@furnsey No. Not only did the stat rape laws not cover it back then, stat rape is not the same as rape, especially when there was marriage. You KNOW this and you are breaking the law by lying here. You also supported the burning of black communities because you are a criminal.

The "Raped a 14" year old trend is highly defamatory and shows why Twitter is a criminal organization that needs to lose all protections.
