@achtunh @IronYote We add additional disambuguators like colors or other visual cues. Usernames are an absolute last resort.

@achtunh @IronYote Hi! This was renamed because this is how naming collisions are resolved. They are not first come first serve. If two characters with the same, the base name is given to no one. We rename tags as we are made aware of name collisions.

@IronYote Yeah take it back. If you had it first they cant take that name from you. Also report it @furtrack I had to kick someone off Bismuth like a year ago. People dont check and also try to steal.

Time sure does fly these days. We recently crossed 1.5 MILLION posts for y'all to tag. That's a lot of photos! Be sure to thank the photographers that capture all these memories and the dedicated taggers out there trying to leave no fursuit unidentified.

@Maho_neko It may be an issue with your connection. Is your Internet stable? What OS and browser are you using? Can you try another device or browser and see if it's still causing issues? Can you provide a screenshot or video of the issues you are seeing? Is this regarding posts or tags?

@RavageGeneral @ulongcha Hi! This photo was uploaded with Photographer's discretion for the copyright. Unless you've gotten permission from @PoisonedShutter to edit these photos, you should not be editing them. Especially stripping the watermarks.

Let me introduce you to @furtrack. Photographers take dozens, hundreds - maybe even thousands of pics at a con/meetup and post them there. I’m thankful that they (or others) even take the time to tag who’s in their pics. But if you think that they’re editing pics before posting their “best version” to the site then you’re insane (at least the majority - this isn’t a paying job for most - it’s a hobby). It’s a fursuit parade. You snap a pic and quickly move on to the next subject the next second or you’ll miss it. This is the first time a photographer has ever had a problem with me editing their pic of me. And I’ve obviously embraced it and learned not to tag photogs if I further edit their original work 🤷

Since my BLFC photos are taking forever to actually get approved on Furtrack, I’m gonna post a few photos here in the mean time.

@Salty_Chichi This is the standard way we disambiguate tags on the site. That way we don't have characters that are just named dog or Anthrocon or common names like Shadow for instance. Additional disambiguators are needed.

We've gotten a ton of photos in the past couple weeks from several major cons. We are working on getting photos approved, however we've received a lot of uploads with issues that slow down the process. Please be sure to properly cull your uploads and be mindful of your tags!
