🚨🎙️ Kevin De Bruyne on Bruno Fernandes and Manchester United attack: “Fair play to Bruno for matching my 20-assist Premier League record from 2019/20. He’s a genius with the way he sees the game. But yesterday, too many of his passes went to waste. Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo both missed big chances Bruno created. Even Bryan Mbeumo had to produce something special after earlier opportunities were wasted. If United are serious, they need better finishers around Bruno because he deserves attackers who can turn his vision into goals.”

Ideally, this should be the required standard for a club the size of Manchester United. But Amorim said these standards/expectations were unrealistic and you were willing to give him 10 years to lay a foundation after he said “we’re going to suffer”. Michael Carrick is not even officially announced yet but suddenly you want him to become Sir Alex Ferguson, Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola combined overnight. I’ll tell you how well we performed under the previous manager: •We failed to qualify for the Champions League •We lost 4 times to a relegation threatened Spurs •We lost the Europa League final to Spurs •We finished 15th in the league •We lost to Grimsby in the 2nd round of the Carabao cup •We never won 4 in a row in the League •He never played academy players regularly •We lost more than we won in the league Where were your high standards back then or does it only apply to Carrick? You can already see the bias and double standards from a mile away. It is Michael Carrick, and you’re setting targets now just so you can say “I told you so” later if he falls short. This is not subjective, it’s an agenda driven narrative.
Kara@UTDKara

Now that it’s official that Michael Carrick will be Manchester United’s permanent manager next season, these are the expectations • Qualify for 2027/28 UEFA Champions League football • Finish Top 2 in the Premier League • At least reach the UCL semi-finals next season • Play academy players regularly • At least reach the FA Cup or Carabao Cup final • Sign 6 quality players this transfer window • Improve Amad Diallo, Mbeumo, and Sesko • Win 5 straight games in a row

@Driplikewealth Exactly my point. Kompany And Maresca have something on their CVs to prove that they’re are good coaches, but I can’t say same for Carrick.

“Kompany went from Burnley to Bayern.” Because of his amazing style of play and he promoted Burnley from relegation! Wish shows if he gets a better job with Good financial backing he would do better!! “Maresca went Leicester to Chelsea” Enzo Maresca led Leicester City F.C. back to the Premier League in the 2023–24 season after their relegation in 2023. “Zidane went from the academy to Real Madrid’s first team.” Zidane went from being coach of Castilla for 2years Became Arsenal to Carlo Ancelotti where they both won UEFA Champions League Copa del Rey UEFA Super Cup “Flick went from Hoffenheim to Bayern.” Hansi Flick was assistant coach of the Germany national football team from 2006 to 2014. He worked under head coach Joachim Löw during that period, which included: Winning the 2014 FIFA World Cup Reaching the Euro 2008 final Consistently reaching the later stages of major tournaments (emphasis on consistency) At hoffenheim He worked as the club’s sporting director/general manager from 2017 to 2018. During that period, Hoffenheim continued growing as a strong Bundesliga side and qualified for “European competitions”. “Enrique went from Celta Vigo to Barcelona.” Took charge of FC Barcelona Atlètic This was Barcelona’s reserve team He gained his first managerial experience here 2011–2012: Moved to manage AS Roma His first job outside Spain A challenging season, and he left after one year 2013–2014: Managed Celta Vigo Improved his reputation in La Liga 2014–2017: Appointed head coach of FC Barcelona Won the treble in 2014–15 (La Liga, Copa del Rey, Champions League) “Pep went from Barça Atletic to Barcelona.” Before becoming head coach of FC Barcelona’s first team, Pep Guardiola was the manager of Barcelona B (the club’s reserve/youth development team). He coached Barcelona B during the 2007–08 season and won “promotion” with them from the fourth tier to the third tier of Spanish MICHAEL CARRICK Every manager he was assistant to was SACKED! Middlesbrough was already a mid table team in the championship his job was to just give them promotion Same league kompany gave Burnley promotion and championship trophy Same league maresca gave Leicester promotion and a championship trophy 😂😂💔 You guys should just shut up with this PR shit of a manager who is chances of failure are so high!!!
Brizzy@Utdbrizzy

Kompany went from Burnley to Bayern. Maresca went from Leicester to Chelsea. Zidane went from the academy to Real Madrid’s first team. Flick went from Hoffenheim to Bayern. Enrique went from Celta Vigo to Barcelona. Pep went from Barça Atletic to Barcelona. But some people think Manchester United is “too big” for Michael Carrick? 🤦‍♂️ Every elite manager started somewhere before reaching the top.
