Precision is now called pedantry because you don’t like the result? You still haven’t pointed to a lie and now you’re operating in bad faith. You’re the one calling someone out for being wrong. Asserting something like that and then getting upset when someone proves you wrong is ironic and disappointing. But you don’t want the truth you just want to be right I guess.

It was not autosteer in 2025 when the accident occurred, and the lawsuit specified AP. It feels like you're wasting my time w/ pedantry to be difficult. Please don't do that. I've been at this a long time and have called every one of these unintended accelerations incidents correctly. It shouldn't be a surprise I was able to do it again. Anyone w/ experience would look at the story and reach the same conclusion even before the video, but especially once they saw it.

@ChadMoran The lawsuit that was filed claimed the driver was on Autopilot, not FSD. Cybertruck has never had AP, and AP wouldn't be the right tool for this job. When FSD has an error, it doesn't look like this. Might as well say Windows had a green screen of death.

You're reaching. I'm disappointed to hear you say this. They are reporting what the driver said, they even cited that. "Easily debunked".... what? What exactly could they have easily debunked. There was ZERO data on this until Elon tweeted. Wouldn't they just be making something up?

@ChadMoran The lie is the claim made by the driver. It's a transparent lie. We could all see what was likely the truth, and the telematics apparently confirm it. Fox says "allegedly" as if that absolves them from boosting the lie. I disagree. Don't publish easily debunked lies.

@ChadMoran If they had asked anyone familiar with the technology, they'd have had the red flags sufficient to warrant skepticism at the very least. Heck, they could have even asked social media.

@FutureAZA If I was forced to buy one, I would immediately sell it. Hondas were my favorite brand for years. I want EV and AVs...all the rest are "also rans".

It's a pretty okay car, but it is, at the end of the day, just a car. Support for a discontinued product is always iffy, but when they're exiting the entire EV industry, well, that's gonna be a no for me no matter what.
