The global AI race has a geography problem. Africa and the Caribbean represent two of the fastest-growing AI markets in the world, both expanding at close to 28% annually. And yet the overwhelming majority of AI investment continues to flow to Silicon Valley, Beijing, and a handful of Asian tech hubs. Last week, I sat down with @LilyDash, Founder of @FutureCaribb and Co-Founder of ACTAI Advisors, to understand why that gap exists and what it will take to close it. Here is what stood out from our conversation: 🔹 Both regions account for less than 2% of global AI investment. 🔹 The blue economy alone could generate hundreds of millions in new revenue. 🔹 The winners of Future Caribbean's Global Agentic AI Buildathon will pitch live at the New York Stock Exchange in September. Compute is shifting from centralized clusters to ubiquitous, localized accessibility. This disaggregation makes solutions more accessible and faster to deliver by removing spatial and temporal barriers. #EdgeComputing #TechTrends

Everyone has access to the same tech. The key to solving problems uniquely lies in creativity—the one thing AI can't replicate. LLMs compose, but they don't *create*. True human creativity, spirit, and imagination remain untouched. #Creativity #AI #FutureOfWork

Innovation thrives on collaboration, not isolation. Giving teams compute power to build agentic AI systems globally connects problem-solvers from Pakistan to Jamaica. Imagine pairing minds across continents to accelerate solutions. #AI #Innovation #GlobalTech
