9/ Real example: ES breaks below 7,000 to 6995→ reclaims within 10 minutes back to 7,005. Long at 7,010 (above reclaim). Stop at 6,995 (below trap). Target 7,050 (resistance). Risk: 15 points | Reward: 40 points. That's a 1:2.6 setup off a bear trap. Take it every time.

@MarketMaestro1 @MarketMike I agree with your analysis. the market is at a key inflection point. There are mixed signals as of right now. Of course this rally can continue but there are starting to be signs that are a cause for concern

@MarketMike hi Mike. I think, SPY stays strong with AI + mega cap + index concentration. But HYG could lag because of higher rates + spread risk. On the contrary, I see a breakout in HYG after a double bottom, and a breakout in SPX too. Still, if HYG drops below 80, of course I’d be cautious

Almost nobody looks at this chart… but it’s one of my favorite ways to spot when a move may be running on fumes. This is a simple 60‑minute line chart of high yield vs SPY. I use it to track divergences between “smart money” (bonds) and “dumb money” (equities). The last major signal was at the bottom, high yield quietly started putting in a higher low while stocks were still puking. That helped flag the turn. Fast‑forward to now: $JNK and $HYG are not confirming this latest push in SPY. Stocks are pressing higher, high yield is stalling out. That doesn’t guarantee a top, but when "Smart Money" refuses to play along, I take note.

@MarketMike HYG divergences on the 60min have historically led SPY by 2-4 sessions on average - thats the part most people miss, they see the signal but dont know when to act on it

@MarketMike Divergences are an amazing tool to use as a trader especially to spot inconsistencies like these. The market is a giant puzzle and these, are the pieces of context needed to piece the puzzle together. Solid post Mike

5/ Trading psychology is half the game. You can have perfect setups and still fail if you can't execute them consistently.

4/ The best trade you make this week might be the one you DON'T take. No setup = no trade. Not "maybe this works" or "let me force it." Cash is a position. Patience is an edge. Protecting capital when there's no clear opportunity is professional trading.
