I know there are people reading this who won't give a shit about it — and I'm also an easy unfollow. (I recommend doing so because my X feed sucks.)
One of most profoundly shitty things I've seen since I moved to Toronto from NYC is how many Canadians will never see the U.S. the same way because of this stretch.
We're talking a generation (minimum) to fix this, in my opinion. These two countries, my two countries, were the greatest of allies (Google Gander, Newfoundland) and as someone with a huge stake in both places, it was one of the most unnecessary things I've ever seen in geopolitics.
There are just some days where it pisses me off immensely. Today is one them.
Now back to the NCAA Tournament.
