I don't really blame David, ETH has grossly underperformed the general crypto market for many years now. I think a lot of his views here are valid and as I've mentioned, I've personally divested a lot out of ETH the past 1-2 years now. To this point, everything I've switched into has greatly outperformed ETH.
Honestly, I don't even think ETH underperforming is really related to any fundamental wrong doing. One thing I think a lot of people fail to realize is how violent the initial ETH run was. It's going to take a long time to shake off the breadth of millionaires that were created in such a short period of time.
At the end of the day, maximalism to a single coin when it comes to portfolio management is pretty silly. The market doesn't lie, there's no reason to trade against it. You can always trade back into a coin if it gets hot.

Superfund is the kind of app I've been waiting for and wanting for ages, but somehow one has never come until this -
It’s absurd to me that in an ocean full of dilution, thousands of choices (99.999% of which go to zero), an ecosystem where normies are annihilated and there are no roadmaps - that somehow theres no form of a normie friendly portfolio or an index.
It appears Superfund is doing just that and in a sense gamifying it so that there are fees which reward the top funds.
Imo it’s the kind of app/ concept that could change the entire space in a positive way. I’ve always avoided introducing my mother or family to crypto, but this kind of app would actually make that possible.

Space and satellite stocks surged across the board today as investors piled into anything orbit-adjacent.
Redwire closed up 26%, Firefly Aerospace jumped 19% after NASA picked its spacecraft for a moon mission, AST SpaceMobile rose 13%, and MDA Space climbed nearly 5%.
A Bank of America basket of space-race stocks posted its biggest one-day gain in over a year and is up 57% on the year, crushing the S&P's 9.8%.
Elon's filing, targeting up to $75 billion at a rumored $2 trillion valuation, is the gravity pulling all of it upward.
When the biggest private company on earth opens its doors to public investors, every smaller player in its orbit suddenly looks like the next big thing.

I have been very impressed by @SemiAnalysis_ . I think of myself as a wide ranging systems engineer, looking for value at every level from the chip specs to the user interface, but SA exposes me to additional levels of "the system", both above (datacenters) and below (semiconductor fabrication). It probably puts me in "just knows enough to be dangerous" territory.
Neat things I learned today:
Some of the 800VDC datacenter design choices leverage parts commoditized by electric vehicles.
There is now a SiC MOSFET that can operate on 10kV electricity, opening up the possibility of working directly with medium (ha!) voltage AC power transmission lines without stepping down.

With David’s gone time for me to admit “Eth is money” is the correct thesis
Just not how most people think
All assets will be tokenized
People will hold whatever assets they most value (the most decentralized money is infinite forms of money competing)
No need for a single unit of account if you have a low cost, efficient way to exchange any asset 24/7
Uniswap on Ethereum is the best decentralized money system and it’s still the early days 🦄
