@siggzmate @RohanKarMooN Yeah I still feel a bit weird about this whole thing. They did try to assure me a bit in a discord, but I’ve seen so many token stealers, backdoors, botnet etc in piracy related projects I find it hard to trust anything nowadays.

@RohanKarMooN Not being funny, but with the amount of shit people do on the sly in this community, I wouldn't even trust downloading any file off them. Wouldn't even be fully safe, since server hosts and any other bad characters can do stuff like pull up info mid game and get you offline.

@Space_Romancer Hopefully, it's a huge shame, the scene is thriving in other European countries for the latest rhythm/dance + racing games, but it's just not possible to operate them in Italy due to these legal problems. There used to be similar issues in Germany but I think it's changed now.

when i was a teen visiting some friends staying at their place in a somewhat big italian city i always played outrun 2 with them at a local arcade there, but visiting again recently i noticed it disappeared turns out italy BANNED ALL VINTAGE ARCADE CABINETS THEY UNIRONICALLY MADE PAC-MAN ILLEGAL

@Space_Romancer I'm not sure if you've noticed, but there are some arcade machines in Italy with 'naomi' randomly mentioned on the artwork, this is intentional in an attempt to fool the authorities, I've seen this on a DDR before.
