Prices for older cods are still quite high, but at least they're going on sale more often nowadays.

god bless cb-launcher for giving us an alternative to experience older COD games without the risk of getting hacked and yes, playing older COD multiplayer that you bought from steam will make you vulnerable for RAT attacks.

I never ask for proof for things I see online, I go and do my own research.

@Noah6ix @1bobsam1 @RohanKarMooN I respect that, my only concern is due to the nature of torrenting said games on the launcher it can be a bit hard to keep sources secure, unless you're personally going through each one. I respect what you're doing, but there have been instances before so I'm just being weary.

@SquiidPC @RohanKarMooN Not only that, but your experiences through servers can be very broad. I've personally ran through plenty of cheaters, not only that but I was doxed before, just for simply dying on accident in a myers lobby on IW4X.

@RohanKarMooN You must not have been playing these clients for long enough then, or known about them long enough to know their issues. Been playing clients since 2015, so I've seen pretty much all issues. Plutonium had a rampant cheating problem, and looking it up now, it still has its issues.

@siggzmate that's something only happened in steam version 😭😭😭. I haven't heard anything happening in these clients as I played on them as well. In fact, the anti cheat in clients like plutonium is much better

@g3orge573 @RohanKarMooN Exactly, I'm pretty sure almost every client has dealt with security integrity issues. Nowhere near as safe as everyone makes it how to be. Only way to get a safe experience nowadays is probably by hosting your own lobbies on steam versions, with a group of trusted people.

@siggzmate @RohanKarMooN Yeah I still feel a bit weird about this whole thing. They did try to assure me a bit in a discord, but I’ve seen so many token stealers, backdoors, botnet etc in piracy related projects I find it hard to trust anything nowadays.
