Unpopular opinion: Every singer biopic should be a full-on musical, Rocketman and Better Man style. Movies like Bohemian Rhapsody and the recent Springsteen biopic felt mid because they leaned into the same tired, paint-by-numbers formula we’ve seen a hundred times, rise, fall, redemption, greatest hits montage. It’s safe, generic, and emotionally flat, basically like reenacting Wikipedia pages of the person And I'm absolutely concerned that the new Michael Jackson biopic movie could be like that
