@KineticTVe Astel basicly laid out this was coming over a year ago since the branch had no shared goal or motive. if every company meeting asking what your group is looking to do is met with only one or two being interested I'm suprised it took this long.

no matter how talented you are, you might not end up being successful. whats needed then is either incredible luck with algorithm, or support from others to push you towards where you need and deserve to be. its frustrating when you have neither of those.

i gave a lot bc i believed in the bigger picture and idk anymore. for 4 yrs i quietly supported financially… i dont like saying it but it wasnt small. it hurts to have to question what we or the talents did wrong. being told its still not enough is devastating and heartbreaking

(I also said I dont watch Kiara aside from if shes in a collab with someone I do watch, her streaming style just doesnt mesh with me) Kiara isnt all the blame, Cover is the biggest aspect to blame.

@bignothingman even in her hololife she is an example that hard work still doesn't always pay off, after the lucky break. till bibs joined she put out the most hours and unique content yet in not where near the top of EN. determination to keep at it got her that concert.

@Benzerking @takanashikiara it's not a stigma, some talant are interested in coed collabs and do them some are not interested and thus don't. a good number of the girls joined holo to be in a female focused environment instead of being treated as Props to male content creators.

@takanashikiara Ill start, im not a big fan of Kiara, (love her music though) I agree collabs dont matter... but basic levels of support do, raiding into streams, if X drops a new song saying "check out X new song" simple things like that go a long way. Will that solve everything? No but helps.

That's why you have to choose your words carefully before writing something; a single phrase can be taken to mean many things depending on the person. It's clear and a fact that Holostars had an uphill battle, and as a universal rule, it's known that in the streaming world, collaborations are the main axis for growth; talent alone isn't enough, even if you're talented and a prodigy, you've definitely had help.Even in the music world, many such cases have been seen; it's a shame what happened.

Please listen to Kiara here. I think it is unfair to blame the girls. A collab or two doesn't guarantee success to a smaller channel. It might make for fun clips but that alone won't save a channel. I'm thankful people like Kiara and Kanata try to steer Cover to the right track
