Smart Tips to Improve Mouse Frame Drops Scenario 1: No frame drops when wired, only when wireless Try the following steps in order: 1. Update firmware Note: If everything is working fine, try not to update the firmware. Ensure your mouse firmware is up to date. Follow the upgrade instructions carefully – do not disconnect or unplug the mouse during the process. 2. Use the original data cable Use the original thicker or shorter data cable. 3. Connect the receiver correctly Plug the receiver cable directly into a black USB port on your computer (motherboard native USB 2.0 port). Do not use hubs, docking stations, or other expansion devices. 4. Check the cable condition Make sure the data cable has not been repeatedly bent or tightly bundled. 5. Reduce 2.4GHz interference Keep high-bandwidth wireless devices (e.g., routers) away from the mouse, or disable their 2.4GHz band. 6. Check mouse feet Use original mouse feet, or third-party feet of the same thickness as the originals. 7. Ensure sufficient battery Keep battery level above 20%. 8. Turn off Competition Mode Try disabling Competition Mode in the driver software. 9. Try a different mouse pad Test with another mouse pad. 10. @TiDoubleGuhEs @review_wolves @g_wolves I’d wait for a firmware update, I’ve heard other people have the same problem. I think it’s because the sensor is already pretty high off of the pad because of the baseless design, so only the high LOD makes it consistent. So unfortunately I don’t think it’s just your unit.
