The Global Angioedema Leadership Conference (GALC), a joint initiative of HAEi and ACARE, will take place in Madrid, Spain, from 26 to 29 March 2026 under the theme “Make a Difference.” The conference will bring together patient leaders, physicians, scientists, researchers and industry representatives from across the global angioedema community to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration and discuss the future of angioedema care. From our ACARE network, Dr. Ricardo Zwiener from Argentina will share his perspectives and expertise and is already looking forward, just like many of us, to reconnecting with colleagues and partners in Madrid. We are proud to share highlights from the ACARE Angioedema Preceptorship in Cairo 2026. It was a truly inspiring gathering dedicated to advancing excellence in recurrent angioedema care. 🇪🇬 With leading experts from across Europe, Egypt, and the Middle East, this year’s program brought together world-class teaching, hands-on training, and invaluable patient perspectives. Elham Hossny welcomed our international faculty and delegates. Danny M. Cohn shared his expertise on the classification and pathophysiology of recurrent angioedema. Markus Magerl presented the Marcus Maurer Fellowship, encouraging young physicians to collaborate and innovate within the ACARE network. Michal Rutkowski and Mohamed from HAE International (HAEi) once again provided vital insights by bringing the patient perspective to our delegates. We are grateful to all faculty, delegates, and partners who contributed to another successful preceptorship and helped advance knowledge and patient care across the region. Global Allergy and Asthma Network of Excellence Masterclass on CU - 29 November 2025, Beijing The one-day masterclass took place on 29 November 2025 in Beijing and brought together 50 invited healthcare professionals, primarily dermatologists and allergologists, representing the program’s core target group. The purpose of the event was to provide a comprehensive update on chronic urticaria, combining the latest scientific insights, new guideline recommendations, and practical tools to strengthen diagnosis and management in Chinese clinical settings. Participants received focused updates on CU burden and prevalence in China, classification and mechanisms, diagnostics, the 2025 international guideline, treatment positioning, and the use of PROMs. Practical sessions on setting up an urticaria clinic, optimizing antihistamine therapy, case-based learning, and generating real-world evidence further supported the program’s goals.
