I think it's ok for them to say this as long as they also say something like "and I recognize that my ability to relentlessly focus on solving technical problems without focusing on other things is an incredible privilege and it would be arrogant of me to voice my political opinions without being properly informed." But they usually don't 😂

When a tech bro is proud of their ability to “solve hard problems” but they also say something along the lines of “I don’t really keep up with politics, it’s just really overwhelming because I can’t fix any of it” it makes me want to knock them out with a fry pan

No approvals. No design reviews. No status updates. Product Manager: 12 months to ship 1 feature. Solo SaaS Builder: Shipped products in weeks. Turns out companies pay good money to ship software quickly. Businesses started hiring me to jump start stalled projects. They needed someone who could go from zero to released. Fast. SaaS revenue? Barely covered hosting. Shipping for others? Covers the mortgage. The software is dead. The house is real. Just ship fast and learn things.
