I think it's ok for them to say this as long as they also say something like "and I recognize that my ability to relentlessly focus on solving technical problems without focusing on other things is an incredible privilege and it would be arrogant of me to voice my political opinions without being properly informed." But they usually don't 😂

When a tech bro is proud of their ability to “solve hard problems” but they also say something along the lines of “I don’t really keep up with politics, it’s just really overwhelming because I can’t fix any of it” it makes me want to knock them out with a fry pan

What's your #1 hack for B2B cold outreach? Here's mine: delight them with a personalized video demo. That way they know you put in the work before even contacting them.

@mattgibsontech You must leverage your local network. Leverage it until it's completely exhausted. Even if your immediate network can't help you, they will see you trying and introduce you to more people in their network. Always ASK! Asking will never set you back.

Haven't posted in months and now at $7k MRR. Sometimes social media isn't the best lever to start with. Don't get distracted by the hype posts. Keep your head down and keep building. There are way more successes out there that aren't shared on social media than those that are

I FINALLY did it. Bought my dream house. It feels surreal. Honestly, never thought it would happen. A few months back, @gregisenberg posted about my bootstrapping journey. My goal? Build a real estate SaaS, use profits to buy my first home. Funny thing, the post went viral while my product was tanking. People LOVED the story. Unfortunately, good stories aren't product-market fit. The SaaS failed. But building solo taught me an important lesson. You can ship software insanely fast when you strip away the BS. No meetings. No approvals. No design reviews. No status updates. Product Manager: 12 months to ship 1 feature. Solo SaaS Builder: Shipped products in weeks. Turns out companies pay good money to ship software quickly. Businesses started hiring me to jump start stalled projects. They needed someone who could go from zero to released. Fast. SaaS revenue? Barely covered hosting. Shipping for others? Covers the mortgage. The software is dead. The house is real. Just ship fast and learn things.

no one can afford their dream house nowadays but cool to see this guy marty markenson try his approach: 1) make an x profile that pops (cool banner) 2) build an audience of people rooting for you to buy home 3) build in public software for real estate that cashflows 4) use profits to buy house 5) invite "twitter homies" to housewarming party from tweets to keys, from followers to homeowner, from github commits to mortgage payments, from timelines to title deed. this is so crazy it probably will work bootstraped too. no vcs. would be cool to see it go viral @martyamark go marty go.

@jadejebba 💯 YES! Your social media strategy is important but product and revenue are infinitely more important. Focus on that first!

@mstables1991 My previous understanding was just through your typical SEO strategies.. but I didn't do anything in that regard. Soo there's gotta be more to it but idk. Maybe it has to do with ChatGPT's ability so search the Internet

Idk how this is possible... ChatGPT recommended my product to my first customer. With 0 SEO. The site was only live for a couple weeks 🤯

@luis_insights Consumer. As the product matures we could release a business plan but that would be down the line.

@gabelicona Yes I am. But I’m think about maybe adding Gemini 2.5 pro. I’m not touching 3.7 however.

@gabelicona I'm primarily using gemini now, and switching to 3.7 (thinking) from time to time v3 0324 when i want small changes and common sense, both 3.7 and gemini like to rewrite things 🤣
