Introducing cmux Claude Code Agent Teams: `cmux claude-teams --dangerously-skip-permissions` Teammates/subagents spawn as native cmux pane splits. They stack vertically in a right column and auto-equalize as agents spawn and exit. `cmux claude-teams` automatically sets CLAUDE_CODE_EXPERIMENTAL_AGENT_TEAMS=1 and shims tmux on PATH with cmux's tmux-compat layer, so you don't need to update your Claude config. All arguments forward to Claude Code, and it works over cmux SSH too. Out in the latest version of cmux (0.63.x).

That's great to hear! Out of curiosity, how does this compare to Claude's agent teams feature? I personally prefer sticking with Claude, but I can see the appeal of multi-model setups. What other advantages does this bring? Also, the local-first approach and open source are a big W

@gabrielaxyeth This is an Electron app running locally. It's blazingly fast, consumes about as much memory as just running those terminals normally, which is not that much!

I haven't slept in over 70 hours. I finally figured it out - the perfect way to build with AI! And it finally works. Was hell to build. I'll release the whole thing as open source once it's less buggy, but for now, reply if you want access to try it out.

I tried the app, but I’m struggling to visualize or export the code and conversations I’m creating in the chat, maybe I’m not using it correctly. Right now there isn’t much guidance on how to get the most out of it. A walkthrough or onboarding guide would really help new users understand the intended workflow. It would be especially useful to see a sample workflow that demonstrates how the app fits into a real use case during onboarding. That would make it much easier to understand the value and start using it effectively.

@gabrielaxyeth It’s buggy as hell at the moment, but will probably ship a workable version tomorrow. Meanwhile, if you want to chat to any LLM in existence, have your chats in a canvas and branch conversations, check out Durango Chat (chat.durango.sh)

I re-envisioned Durango Code and am cooking something beautiful. Completely open source too. Will ship tomorrow. Trust me, it's amazing. The best way to code with AI.

feature request @claudeai: time-based /loop is nice, but an event/webhook-based /loop trigger would be even better. I could setup claude code automations that could instantly react to API calls, database changes, payments, etc. Would this be possible? @bcherny @trq212

For over a week now, Claude models are really broken, you have to ask Claude to re-do the same task 3-4 times to things right.. ..and guess what? Just like that, your token consumption and cost also went up by 3-4x It's a ridiculous move from Anthropic.

wtf did i just read NATO is equipping live cockroaches with AI models to spy on enemies, steering their movement with electric shocks to the nervous system! the tech is fucking insane: - each cockroach is wired with cameras, microphones and microscopic AI chips that process data locally. - swarm algorithms coordinate MULTIPLE cockroaches at once - these cyborg cockroaches are sent on military scouting missions moving through tight spaces, rubble undetected. - german military has already paid for and deployed these AI cockroaches i’ve heard of ai drones but never ai-powered fucking combat cockroaches lmaoo
Rowan Cheung@rowancheung

NATO is testing live cockroaches as AI-powered spy drones. Incredible AI engineering, but also something I kinda wish I hadn't learned about: > Swarm Bio-tactics wired real cockroaches with electronic backpacks containing AI hardware, radios, cameras, and microphones. > Cockroaches are steered by sending electrical signals directly into the insect's nervous system > They can crawl through rubble, tunnels, and spaces where drones can't fly, and troops shouldn't go, transmitting data back the entire time. > Within one year, they went from concept to field-validated systems with paying NATO customers, including the German military. The qualities that make them useful for military recon (small, silent, nearly undetectable) are exactly what make them creepy. ...International laws weren't written with cyborg insects in mind.

DevRel is a weird job. You’re half developer half educator half community manager half therapist for devs who just spent 6 hours debugging a missing semicolon. Math doesn’t check out but the job exists.
