@rugal_fx @womengrom it’s instinct, not because they ‘think’ of it but because of natural selection. the birds which happened to do this were less likely to be eaten by snakes, whereas the ones that didn’t were eaten by snakes along with their eggs, so the ones who did decide to do it successfully
