Played against Vacaville high school last Friday night in the QuarterFinals. Played O-tackle and some defense contributing 1/2 a sack and assisted TFL. Won 43-7 @mcody83 @Jeff_Reinebold @CoachJSalazar @Coach_TKeane @CoachPotter73 @CoachToler @MikeBloesch

ALL-STAR SELECTIONS 2nd TEAM OFFENSIVE LINE OL - Aderian Adelabu (Franklin) OL - Lucio Dominguez (Grant) OL - Henry Hatada (Rocklin) OL - Evan Gaea (St. Marys) OL - Luke Sorensen (Folsom) @Aderian_Adelabu, @FHSAthletics2, @_LucioDominguez, @grant_union, @henry_hatada, @RocklinFootball, @gaea_evan, @SMRamsFB, @Luke_Sorensen_, @FolsomBulldogFB, @Passing_Academy Aderian Adelabu helped Franklin to one of its best seasons in years. This massive 6’5” 270lbs senior is on his way to playing football on Saturdays with several offers. He easily could have made one of the defensive teams too as he had 17 tackles for loss as a DE. However his value as an offensive lineman puts him on this list. He is supremely athletic for his size and has superior footwork. He is equally good at pass protection as he is as a run blocker. He makes a major impression in the trenches which can be hard to do. Lucio Dominguez is just a junior and is on his way to making a huge name for himself. He is a superior athlete for the position as seen in his ability in Lacrosse too. Dominguez loves contact it is not rare to see him slamming defenders to the ground. This kid creates running opportunities as well as keep his QB upright. He is a ton of fun to watch block and doesn’t give up until the whistle is blown. Henry Hatada is a three year varsity player for Rocklin and makes up half of the fantastic duo along the Rocklin offensive line with Garrison Blank (you might see him on one of these list soon). Hatada is super strong at 6’1” 245lbs. Maybe smaller than some lineman, he can push back defensive players much bigger than he is when creating run lanes or pass blocking. He gets downfield quick too. Evan Gaea is one of the best offensive lineman in the area hands down. He gets huge pushes against defenders and creates huge holes for runners. At 6’3” and 320lbs this kid moves extremely well and gets downfield for blocks regularly. He is a great pass blocker as well. Like most kids on this list, expect to see him playing Saturdays. Luke Sorensen was a big part of one of the plays for the year for Folsom as he took a lateral from Ryder Lyons and then lateraled himself to his running back just before the half during the Serra game. The play was featured on ESPN and all over the sports landscape. But blocking for a running QB like Lyons has its challenges and requires the O-lineman to adjust all the time and block longer than most as Lyons scrambles in the backfield. Sorenson has great feet and balance and can keep blockers in front of his large 6’3” 290lbs frame. Great in both run and pass blocking he is a pillar along the dominant Folsom offensive line.
