Aston Villa fans have every right to feel very proud of their season so far. Another PSR affected summer, I didn't have high hopes for them this season, so to recover from a dreadful start and find themselves 3 points off the top on the 27th December, was phenomenal. They've had to contend with Watkins having a really inconsistent season and Kamara, Tielemans and McGinn all missing long stretches simultaneously... And yes, Chelsea, Newcastle and to a lesser extent Liverpool have been poor, but to be all but guaranteed Champions League football by the end of April, and to win 11 of 12 Europa League games up to the semi-finals... It's just more hugely impressive work by Unai Emery, especially given the circumstances.

@Mo_Arsenal9 Which villa player gets into the city team, except Rogers hardly any. Even that as a bench player probably at times. Which city player gets into the Villa team. Everyone single one of them.

Man City will play Aston Villa at the last match of the season. If Villa reach Europa Final, and knowing Unai Emery... he hates Arsenal and will play entire academy against City and take defeat of 10-0. We need to increase our GD before that and must win all the matches. Take note @m8arteta.

@Mo_Arsenal9 I'm a villa and even if Emery plays his best team I think Villa would struggle to get a point if City are even at half their best! Never seen them win there. Their players are miles better except Rogers, Martinez, Torress, Tilemans

We need to have a conversation about Morgan. Starting to look like a player who's "made it". He's played a lot of games already for Villa, so he gets a pass when it comes to fatigue, he's done a lot in a very short period. But... Flicks, losing it under no pressure, he "looks" and feels different. I hope it's not becoming a wanted man..
