qj would not take up the role of leader in any situation where negaduck is absent! he does not take anything seriously enough for that- most screentime he has with the rest of the fearsome five is just him fucking around and locking in w the rest of the team when necessary

People have a tendency to make him too dumb. It's a really bizarre trend bc we're shown that he's intelligent/clever but I feel like people tend to minimize that because they overanalyze show gags.
