The whole appeal of the character was that her insanity was balanced with over-the-top friendliness. She befriended her own kidnapping victims! Fans that ignore the character’s inherent sweetness don’t get the character.

@SoulCured People seem to forget about how Negaduck treated Pos-Gos. He threatened to killed her without much hesitation. Even when Darkwing became Negaduck, one of his first actions was to hurt Gosalyn and LP.
There's a reason why Darkwing quivered in horror about him being a dad.

He's not a good father to Nega Gos. That's all fan speculation because he has her at all but he literally leaves her alone all the time and you can tell by the way she interacts with the world around her. Nega Launchpad probably spends more time with her

Also it goes without saying that the DWD version is better than the DT17 version. The DT17 version serves its purpose and I know he's meant to be younger/earlier in his career, but he has the issue that a lot of the DT17 version have that they made him a little too dumb

I always loved the relationship these two had because Greg is probably the first person to ever bring Rose down to their level instead of holding her on a pedestal or idolizing her in some way.

Steerminator was ass and the only good thing it did was reintroduce Bulba to Gosalyn to show how he and the pilot episode as a whole really did affect her. Otherwise the concept makes him worse and less intimidating as a character
