Looking for a iOS and Android mobile app developer to help develop an initial version of an APP for an OTA. Native is preferable but @r_FlutterDev is acceptable as long as nothing is “lost” in the process. - Previous experience connecting to realtime backends like WebSockets is required. - Previous experience with @dotnet @SignalR is a plus. - Previous experience with Tourism industry (in particular OTAs) is a plus. - Be able to work close to Brazilian Timezone (GMT-3) at least part of the day is required. Interested? Please DM me with your resume and/or app portfolio. Scope, technical docs and Figma design will be shared with developers which match the profile. Thanks!

@zcbenz Nice! I hope RDMA on Macs can eventually be used with Mellanox NICs (over thunderbolt). While this is only for TB we are very limited to only 4 nodes since there is no PCIe/TB switches available.

MLX's implementation of RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) over Thunderbolt on macOS, can now be used as an independent library by anyone: github.com/ml-explore/mlx… It is the gem that powers Mac clusters for local AI, and is an order of magnitude faster than protocols over TCP.

@tomwarren That is a shame. Awesome device without anything even close to it. But yeah, it is a niche device with low sales volume I would guess.

Microsoft is killing off its massive Surface Hub touchscreen displays. The Surface Hub 3 that debuted in 2023 will be the last of Microsoft’s 50- and 85-inch collaborative displays theverge.com/tech/912114/mi…

Most plug-in batteries do one thing: keep devices powered when the grid goes down. That's valuable. But it barely scratches the surface. Every Pila battery is coordinating in real time across a mesh network — learning your appliances, optimizing against your utility's time-of-use rates, integrating with your solar, and participating in VPPs that help stabilize the grid for everyone. ✅ Disaggregated load control. ✅ Demand response. ✅ Seamless utility integration. ✅ A full energy management layer running quietly in the background. And the whole thing plugs into standard outlets. No rewiring. No $20,000 starting point. Our aim: make all of that complexity completely invisible. Honored to be recognized by CleanTech Breakthrough as EMS Innovation of the Year. That one hits different — because honestly, getting called an EMS is the point. Congrats to the other teams pushing the category forward — Palmetto, @basepowerco, @ScaleMicrogrids, @fervoenergy @EnergyHub, and the 2026 winners. Innovating in energy has never mattered more. Back to building.⚡

@alexocheema @exolabs That would be awesome if "somehow" we had PCIe switches which accept thunderbolt so we could have RDMA from MacOS without being limited to 4x nodes in a mesh. Or, make TB RDMA to work with Mellanox Connect-X NICs on external enclosures :)

We will see a lot more of these setups in 2026. Only difference is they'll be entirely TB5, no Ethernet. It's not just AI. Customers are using @exolabs for HPC / scientific computing, where mac minis are the most economical option.

@Apple added RDMA to MacOS which is mind blowing! The videos I've seen with the @exolabs are very promising. Would love if the RDMA support would work with PCIe NICs like Mellanox Connect-X on external enclosures. That makes a very attractive cluster solution.
