He is a natural leader: physically strong, tactically intelligent, brave on the ball, aggressive without being reckless, and with the personality to organize a team full of big egos. Real Madrid does not only need talent; it needs players who connect the team, give balance, impose standards, and make everyone around them better. Hjulmand is exactly that type of player. He became a champion at Sporting and has proven that he can lead, compete, and raise the level of a dressing room.
