I got to play the early demo of Halo: Campaign Evolved! Here are some quick thoughts: • IT IS BEAUTIFUL • The gameplay still FEELS like Halo!! • Sprint really ain't that bad • The Flood are more terrifying than ever

@BrigDegeneral @rockisinfinite Fair point, though I would say the birthday skull does fall into the category I mentioned of adding value in different ways I guess I find it rather convenient they add third person in the only game that doesn’t have multiplayer PvP at the same time they add purchasable skins

@gamedev627 @rockisinfinite Some skulls affect the game along and some don’t. The grunt confetti skull doesn’t affect gameplay at all. A skull doesn’t really need to have any other reason to exist besides it’s fun which I find third person fun. Wish they added a first person driving skull tho

@BrigDegeneral @rockisinfinite I agree, which is why the other skulls significantly impact how the game is played or add value in different ways. It’s pretty obvious that third person is added in just so you can see your skins let’s not pretend otherwise

@gamedev627 Dog what…. By your logic every game ever should have everything at launch instead of releasing stuff over time. And I’m not talking like forge, but armor m, modes, new weapons, which has historically been added throughout the games lifecycle to keep it fresh.
