@Dave_Korus@football_HTJ@IpswichTownKR Well yeah, obviously. The number of Japanese players started increasing around 10 years ago, so naturally more attention went toward them. And not just Japanese people, anyone would assume it’s just a coincidence at first.
@football_HTJ@IpswichTownKR Japanese called it conspiracy because back in 2000s and early 2010s Korean players were winning trophies, and you guys wanted to stick with the Europeans. Now that Japanese players are winning trophies and see it first hand, you now believe it. Don't feel bad for JPN fans, TBH.
@bearingwest@football_HTJ I checked the source. This is nice to see. It was cut in the highlights, but to be fair, the full version did show it properly.
@KevaughnHunter2@football_HTJ@thomas5_8 He definitely experienced racism. Kamada himself talked about it in a Japanese interview, saying he lost confidence for a while because of it. I just don’t know if he was aware of how often Asian players get cut off by the camera while lifting trophies or receiving medals.
@football_HTJ I think just a coincidence I tried to search in the FA CUP finals and the last final in which I found an Asian player 2025 the celebrations were normal
This is the reality of racism in Europe, especially in England. Yet another controversy over 'passing' (ignoring) Asian players, lol. It's quite fascinating, isn't it? Every time an Asian player is about to lift a trophy, the camera cuts away to somewhere else. Countless Asian players have faced this in the past; Khusanov from Uzbekistan went through it just a few days ago, and now, even Yuu Hirakawa from Hull City which just got promoted to the EPL had the camera cut away from him again.
It’s gotten to the point where even the commentators said, 'Now it's time for the Japanese player to lift it...' and 'Ah... I feared this would happen.' This means everyone saw it coming. Honestly, this applies to France and Germany too. It is absolutely disgusting to the core
@IpswichTownKR For a coincidence, it feels like it happens every single time. Whether intentionally or not, Kamada even did a little fake-out to trick the cameras when lifting the trophy lol
I guess ignoring Asian players during trophy celebrations is considered completely normal. Hirakawa played a huge part in the winning goal, so it makes no sense that the
cameras barely showed him
@lucyjaynewhite1 I totally agree. National team's should hold participants representative of that nation ... Imagine a Japanese football team with African players, you can't.
@Encantador_667@AlAudabram Selling a mercenary player at the right time is necessary for any club. Honestly, if my own favorite club had a player like Nakamura, I’d probably be telling the club to sell him immediately too. Even more so if the player’s attitude starts becoming bigger than the club itself.
@Encantador_667@AlAudabram I have no problem with Nakamura being disliked for understandable reasons. If someone could score more than him, he would’ve accepted his role quietly. In other words, he knows he’s a mercenary, and as harsh as it sounds, most leagues are basically feeder leagues for top clubs.
@Encantador_667@AlAudabram Who’s scoring instead of Nakamura? Just look at Ito and see how many big chances he created. The club handled this poorly, and that’s why there’s still resentment. Hate JP Player if you want, but the numbers speak for themselves. In other words, the club simply wasn’t good enough
@AlAudabram C’est le problème de la communauté japonaise qui donne du gaz à n’importe quel nippon qui commence à jouer en Europe, ils finissent par croire que ce sont des ultra star avec des ego surdimensionnés.
