@0xMetamatt I appreciate the sentiment - but what does open source have to do with decentralization? lol. It means the protocol is transparent and verifiable. But it can 100% be decentralized and not open source.

@ChrisiusX @IOHK_Charles Everyone is benefiting is quite literally why everyone should be paying for it. It’s public infrastructure, it’s not a for profit endeavor. You’re literally proving his point. So unless you’re asking for charity someone has to pay someone to do it.

i dont know if that is the best analogy comparing the house to and entire ecosystem that everyone can benefit from including yourself. maybe use the loan to invest in a project that can help develop the tech but also use it to provide a service that can use that tech and generate revenue that can be used to pay back the loan while eventually getting a return on investment. fair deal?

If @IOGroup is so confident that they do great work, they should apply for a business loan in the amount of $50 million dollars. A bank will surely approve. This would give IOG runway and reduce sell pressure on $ADA. What do you say? @IOHK_Charles CC: @Cardano

Emurgo's voting power will cause billions of dollars in reputational damage to Cardano if they dont act fast, and do what's right.
There's no reason to have that much delegation unless you want to push your proposals, or to get added to every proposal for free money.

@joe4deadcat @IOGroup @IOHK_Charles @Cardano On revenue generating products I agree. On infrastructure it’s a different story. Why doesn’t our government take out loans to build roads and pay them back?
